12. ANGEL WOOL

Safety. Protection. Gives protective cocoon, takes people inside themselves, protecting them from the world if they need to grow quietly. Then for helping break out of a cocoon of apparent safety when ready or it smothers the new growth. Gives motivation to break through inertia, and to re-align the path. For new-born babies – coming out of the cocoon of the womb. For speaking too much or too little. Helps one speak appropriately, and to realise the power of words. For materialistic attitudes, people too much on the earth plane who feel safe with material things and who do not want to break out from the cocoon of that safety.

Background to the essence Toadflax/Linaria

This was in fact the first essence I made, which I first named Snapdragon. But I realised that the tiny snapdragon-like flowers were in fact Toadflax, a type of Linaria from the snapdragon family. I knew that snapdragon was useful as an essence for lip problems, which I then had, and which the essence righted. I wondered where I would get snapdragons at the time (it was September), when I came across the tiny wild flowers which I know from only two places. Again they called out to be used. It was important not only to re-name the essence when I re-made it with the same flowers the following year but also to re-number it (Forsythia had to be number 1).

Angel wool holds your soul.
It comforts and softens
